APPLICATION AREAS

Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) or Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) used in exterior thermal cladding system, covering rockwool, rockwool, thermal insulation boards with plaster layer used.

APPLICATION

Make sure that the ambient temperature is between +5 °C and +35 °C during application. Do not apply on surfaces that are frozen, melting or in danger of freezing within 24 hours. Do not apply under direct sun or strong wind.

Use time of the prepared mortar: Maximum 2 hours, Application thickness: 4 mm, Insulation boards should be placed close to each other, The gaps between the sheets should be as small as possible to prevent heat transfer.

Pour 25 kg of Fixser Board Adhesive Mortar into 6-6.5 liters of clean water and mix with a low speed mixer until a homogenous mixture without lumps is obtained. Allow the mortar to rest for 5 minutes and mix again for 1-2 minutes. Board Adhesive Mortar should be applied to the surface with a 1 cm steel trowel. The adhesive mortar is applied all around the insulation board by paying attention to leave 5 mm from the edges. It should be ensured that at least 40% of the insulation board is covered with adhesive.

Thesheet is pressed on the surface to be glued. Full adhesion is ensured by lightly tapping on it with a rubber mallet. After the adhesive has cured sufficiently , the boards are doweled. Depending on weather conditions , plaster can be applied after 2 days.

WARNINGS
No material (lime, cement, gypsum, etc.) should be added to the prepared mortar. Expired mortars should not be mixed with water or dry mortar and used again. Do not apply on very hot or frozen surfaces exposed to the sun for a long time. Not applicable on wood coatings, metal coatings and surfaces exposed to moisture. Do not exceed the specified application surface and instructions for use. Do not inhale, in case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor if necessary. Since it is a cement based material, gloves should be worn during application. The packaged product should not be stored in humid environments.

STORAGE
Stack dry up to 10 times in the original packaging and should be stored in a moisture-free environment for 8 months. It is recommended to consume within 7 days after opening the bag.

Avoidskin and eye contact. Gloves must be worn during storage and application.
