DEFINITION
Brick, gas concrete, pumice, briquette wall, etc. on interior and exterior facades. adhesion and comfortable application that can be applied on surfaces such as brick , gas concrete, pumice, briquette walls, etc. cement based plaster that can be applied by hand or machine.
APPLICATION AREAS
Brick, gas concrete, pumice, briquette, exposed concrete surfaces, used for plastering walls.
APPLICATION
Make sure that the ambient temperature is between +5 °C and +35 °C during application. Do not apply on surfaces that are frozen, melting or in danger of freezing within 24 hours.
Do not apply under direct sun or strong wind.
The wall becomes ready for painting by applying a top coat of putty on Fixtek plaster. For this reason, it is used instead of gypsum plaster, which has a much higher cost. Provides the function of thin plaster in single layer applications. Creates a solid base with high adhesion and durability. It is resistant to moisture on interior and exterior facades and the spaces breathe. With this feature, it has a superior advantage over gypsum plaster. Resistant to moisture and water on exterior facades.
Fixtek plaster is mixed with a mixer (8.5-9.5 Lt. water, 40 Kg. bag) and applied to the surface with the help of a trowel or by spraying on the surface with a plasterer. Special aluminum gauge profiles should be used for a smooth plaster. Corner profiles should be used to prevent corner breakage. Fixtek Plaster, which is applied in horizontal strips between two anodes, is gauged with special aluminum gauge profiles. When the plaster hardens sufficiently (when it reaches a shape that will not be pitted when pressed with a finger), the surface is troweled. The surface is finished with a damp sponge.
Application thickness is between 1 cm and 2.5 cm in a single coat. If the thickness is more than 2.5 cm, the second coat is applied with a maximum thickness of 2-2.5 cm after the first coat has set. The time to wait between coats in applications is 24 hours.
WARNINGS
No material (lime, cement, gypsum, etc.) should be added to the prepared mortar. Expired mortars should not be mixed with water or dry mortar and used again. Do not apply on very hot or frozen surfaces exposed to the sun for a long time.
For the durability of the product, the surface should be watered periodically within 7 days after application. It is recommended to apply plaster at the joints of different materials and at points where there may be movement. For applications on Fixtek plaster, wait at least 15 days depending on the ambient temperature. Do not go beyond the specified application surface and instructions for use. Do not inhale, in case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor if necessary. Since it is a cement based material, gloves should be worn during application. The packaged product should not be stored in humid environments.
CONSUMPTION14 kg/m² (for 1 cm thickness )
